Dark mode in computers and smartphones is beneficial in several ways. It removes bright colors that cause strain on your eyes and makes reading easy for you. Content focus is another advantage of the mode. So you can focus on the work rather than spreading attention in different things on the screen.
Mac added a dark mode feature with the launch of the macOS Mojave 10.14 version. It lets you apply a new light or dark theme to the entire screen including apps, menu bar, dock, etc.

Enable and Disable Dark Mode in Mac
Follow these steps to turn on or off dark mode in macOS Mojave.
1. Click on the Apple logo on the top menu bar and choose ‘System Preferences’ from the options.
2. Choose ‘General’.
3. Under Appearance settings, choose the ‘dark’ theme for your device.
4. If you want to disable dark mode and want to use a normal theme, select the ‘light’ theme.
